Product description    

Standard is a fibrillated fiber for structural concrete and mortar reinforce¬
ment. The fiber ensures uniform and fast three-dimensional distribution throughout the matrix.
Standard serves as a plastic shrinkage reinforcement, reduces shrinkage cracking in the early stage of the matrix, increases the resistance to impact and raises the durability of the finished product.
Standard prevents sedimentation - the subsequent settlement of the matrix.
Standard creates a high level of resistance of concrete structures exposed to aggressive waters.

Application    

Standard is applied in the construction of subfloors, screeds and floor slabs
of medium load-carrying capacity as well as in shotcrete and hard concrete.
Standard increases impact resistance and reduces abrasion. This is an important factor in connection with screeds and industrial floorings.
Standard meets all the criteria and specifications expected of a fibrillated polyolefine fiber used as plastic shrinkage reinforcement.

Dosage    

The recommended approximate addition rate for Standard is 1 kg per m3
of concrete as a structural reinforcement. For shotcrete and gunnit, the recommended addition rate is 1.5 - 6 kg Standard per m3.
Standard is available in a standard length of 19 mm (type 190).

Processing    

The addition of Standard for dry mixing in concrete production facilities
does not require any extension of the mixing time. The selected mixing times of the individual concrete formulations can be retained. Special mix¬tures for special products may require an extension of the mixing time.
Standard can also be added directly to mobile concrete mixers. The rule here is: Per m3 of matrix, 1 minute mixing time at maximum rpm of the mixing drum.
Its addition in screed mixers (pump) does not pose any problem, either. The mixing times may rise slightly, but as a rule, Standard fibres will be optimally distributed with normal mixing times. (Here it is advisable not to add the packing into the screed mixer.)
Standard can be readily processed with any additives known to us.
Caution: The addition of Standard will increase the rigidity of the concrete!
Optimise the desired placement consistency using concrete plasticiser!
Do not add any additional water!

Standard fulfils the standard EN 14889-2 and therefore guarantees a
consistently high quality.
